APAC 3 and APAC 4's Exciting Path to ATLAS

The BSI Office in Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur was teeming with people as we went into our APAC 3’s System Integration Testing (SIT) period for four consecutive weeks from 5 to 30 March 2018. It was one of the largest activities held in BSI; with over 70 Super User testers participating from Amway Japan, Amway Malaysia, Amway Singapore, ABG Singapore, ASSC as well as AITS. The team was then celebrated with a team dinner at Rama V Restaurant, Kuala Lumpur on 21 March.

Over the SIT period, the team managed to complete 3,594 scenarios, which included Integrated Business Process, RIE and Conversions, Inspyrus and Kyriba, and Regressions. Defect Resolution was conducted from 2 to 6 April with support from various teams. The total overall defects found were 340 and to-date the team successfully closed 240; while the rest are either for future implementation or resolutions are still in progress. APAC 3 received consensus to exit SIT on 13 April.

As-of-date, preparation is in full gear for the upcoming User Acceptance Testing from 7 May to 1 June. Overall, the activities are proceeding progressively, with an expected Go-Live scheduled on 1 July 2018.

As for APAC 4, the roll-out is kicking off early with the Go-Live date scheduled in April 2019. Thailand took the lead with the OCM (Organizational Change Management) Deep Dive on 27 and 28 March followed by Vietnam on 16 and 17 April. The sessions were attended by the management at both market and received great participation and feedback from the teams.

The BPD (Business Process Deviation) and Solution recap confirmation for both markets were already completed in 18 March. Currently the team is preparing Scenarios for the CRP (Conference Room Pilot) which will commence in early May.
